Please note that this is NOT a comprehensive plan and DOES NOT cover PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS evident prior to your arrival in the United States.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITION means: 1) the existence of symptoms which would cause an ordinarily prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment within the 12 months immediately prior to the Insured’s Effective Date under the policy; or, 2) any condition which originates, is diagnosed, treated or recommended for treatment within the 12 months immediately prior to the Insured’s Effective Date under the policy.
Please remember to carry the wallet-sized ID card with you at all times while you are in the U.S. If you are seeking medical services off-campus (evenings and weekends when University Health Services is closed), please remember to bring your passport along with your insurance card.
NOTE: If the insurance company denies payment, you may be billed for services even after your return to your home country.
